I love clean and simple cards. I am especially fond of all white with a “pop” of color. Today, I am featuring a clean and simple birthday card using the Stampin’ Up! Darling Details Bundle. The Distinktive stamp set involves two-step floral and foliage images that provide extra texture and dimension. The sentiments are perfect for birthday, thank you and “just because.” The dies include not only those for the stamped images, but, detailed dies, as well.
I chose to use Basic White Thick for the card base. Next, I used the smaller rectangle from the Darling Details dies to make a framed Basic White layer for the card front. Next, I dry embossed the framed layer with the Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder. Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, and Lemon Lime Twist were used to die cut detailed floral stems and leaves. I, then, stamped the small flower using Bubble Bath and enhanced the center with an Early Expresso Stamp & Write marker. A Brushed Brass Butterfly was used to embellish the front. I kept the inside clean and simple using a layer of Basic White with a detailed floral image die cut from Bubble Bath.
The video below demonstrates how to make a clean and simple card using the Darling Details Bundle. You will get some tips & tricks for embossing and two-step stamping, as well. Further down in the post, you will find measurements, supplies, and instructions with a downloadable PDF, as well as, a second clean and simple card. Leave me a comment, I would love to know which one you like the best!
