Today’s LIVE card class demonstrates easy fall cards made with Stampin’ Up! Rustic Crate Bundle and All About Autumn Designer Series Paper. This actually constitutes a “sneak peek” since, both, of these products are in the 2023 September – December Mini Catalog available next week. The Rustic Crate Bundle is versatile in that it has stamped images for all seasons: pumpkins & sunflowers, poinsettias, and plants. All About Autumn Designer Series Paper has beautiful fall scenes, as well as, corduroy, books, and cable knit. The opposite side of the paper has gold and rose gold inlaid into solid colors or geometric designs.

Easy Fall Cards Design

I chose a fall leaf scene from All About Autumn Designer Series Paper and paired it with Copper Clay for the base of my card. The Designer Series Paper had, both, Very Vanilla and Basic White, not a combination usually seen together. So, I decided to play off of that and chose Very Vanilla for layering and Basic White for stamping and die cutting. I loved the end result!

Since I was using Stampin’ Blends to color the stamped image of the pumpkins, sunflower and corn, I stamped using Tuxedo Black Momento Ink. Pecan Pie was used to stamp the crate. I used a variety of Stampin’ Blends to color: Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lolly, Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow and Old Olive. I like using a variety of Blends to create the depth of color for which I am looking.

Tips for a die cut greeting

I chose to use the die cut “hello” from the Rustic Crate Bundle. To add some dimension and interest to the sentiment, I cut four from Basic White. I, then, adhered them to one another using a fine tip glue. The fine tip glue made it easy to add adhesive to the small, intricate die cuts and at the same time, created great dimension and boldness to my sentiment. I then adhered it to the front of the card using the same glue.
