Today, I am anxious to share an adorable Peek-A-Boo Valentine card that I made using the Bee My Valentine Bundle by Stampin’ Up! This bundle is cute, whimsical and just down right fun to use in your paper crafting. There are a variety of greetings that are perfect for occasions other than Valentine’s Day! Overall, this is a set you can use year round and pair with other stamps and dies to increase versatility and use.
Adorable Valentine Card With A Peek-A-Boo Twist

I used Sweet Sorbet for the card base. Next, I dry embossed a layer of Basic White using the “bubbles” from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. Afterwards, I used a 2″ Circle Punch to to create my “peek-a-boo” area on the right edge and lower half of the Basic White embossed layer. You could just as easily use a circle die to cut this area. Once adhered to the card base, I added a layer of Sweet Sorbet and Bee Mine Designer Series Paper on the left of the embossed layer.

I stamped the bee using Daffodil Delight and Tuxedo Black Momento inks. To add dimension, I used the Bee Builder Punch to punch out the body and wings. Once assembled, I adhered this cute little bee in the cut out or “peek-a-boo” area using Dimensionals. Afterwards, I loved that he looked like he was flying out of the opening of a hive. To add the antennas, I stamped directly of the layers.
For my sentiment, I decided to “fussy cut” it. If you are not a fan of “fussy cutting,” you can just as easily trim it to size and adhere it with Dimensionals.

Adorable Valentine Card: Inside
Here, I stamped my sentiment on a layer of Basic White. In the lower right corner, I stamped the bee in the lower right corner. I used Pool Party to stamp the “flight path.”
At some point, I smudged black ink on the inside layer. To cover up the smudge, I stamped hearts to cover it up.
