Magnolia Mood Bundle For Simple & Elegant Card Making

Today, I am featuring the Magnolia Mood Bundle by Stampin’ Up! This bundle debuted earlier this year as an Online Exclusive. I love the detail in the large magnolia image, as it lends itself to using just the stamped image or coloring. The dies offer a variety of detailed cuts to add interest and dimension to your card making.

Magnolia Mood Simple & Elegant Card Design

I wanted to design a simple, yet, elegant birthday card. To achieve that, I chose to pair the Magnolia Mood Bundle with Spotlight On Nature Dies and the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. For Designer Series Paper, I used a pattern from Country Lace 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. My colors included Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight, and Smoky Slate.

For my focal point, I used the second largest die from Spotlight On Nature to cut a circle from the Country Lace Designer Series Paper. I used the largest detail die from Magnolia Mood Bundle as the background for my stamped image. For a softer image, I stamped the magnolia using Smoky Slate. I used Mossy Meadow and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends to color the leaves and center of the flower. For embellishments, I used the Basic Grey and Smoky Slate Pearls.

For the inside of the card, I simply stamped a small magnolia using Smoky Slate and colored the leaves with Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. I, typically, do not stamp an inside sentiment until I am sending the card.
