Today, I have another sneak peek” from the 2023 – 2024 Stampin’ Up! Catalog? I chose to feature the Seasonal Branches Bundle. The stamps and dies allow for a variety of possibilities in card making. I , also, found the images in the Season Branches Stamp set fun to color using a Blender Pen.
Seasonal Branches Sending Love
For my first Seasonal Branches card, I chose Lemon Lime Twist for the card base and paired it with a Lemon Lime Twist print from the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper. Here, I experimented with stamping the leaves with Old Olive and the bird and flowers with Tuxedo Black Momento ink. All of the stamped images were colored with ink and a Stampin’ Up! Blender Pen. I wanted a soft look to the color without coloring the entire image. The ink and Blender Pen did exactly that! Blending brushes were used to cast some light onto the branches with Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral. The Deckled Rectangles provided some texture and dimension to the card, both, inside and out. I finished the inside with a matching strip of Designer Series Paper on the lower edge of the inside layer.

Here, I chose Mood Mauve for the card base and paired it with a piece of Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper that had an ombre effect. This time, I decided to cut all my layers using the Deckled Rectangle dies. I used more die cuts on this card with Pecan Pie for the tree branch and Bubble Bath with Basic White for the flowers. Again, I colored images using the Blender Pens. As I was making the card, a robin flew up on the tree outside my window. This inspired me to color the stamped bird the same as the robin staring at me through the window. I carried a layer of Deckled Rectangles through on the inside of my card.
The video below will show you the supplies I used, as well as, the instructions for each of the cards. Below, you will find a downloadable PDF with measurements and partial supply list. The supply list will be updated once the 2023 Annul Catalog is live. I hope you enjoyed the “sneak peek!” of the Seasonal Branches Bundle. Leave me a comment, I would love to know your thoughts and which card was your favorite.
