Week 10 of my Twelve Weeks of Christmas features the Triple Time Stamping Technique. Simply said, this technique involves stamping on three layers of cardstock that vary in size and overlap one another. When you stamp the images, the images overlap all three layers creating a design that is continuous. Once you are done stamping, you separate the layers and adhere each layer to a coordinating piece of card stock. Finally, you reassemble the layers matching up the design stamped using the technique known as Triple Time Stamping.
Triple Time Stamping Holiday Card
In the card above, I used the Timber 3D Embossing Folder to emboss a Basic White layer. However, I made the same card, below, using just stamps, ink and paper. I simply added a layer of Basic White for my first layer, and then utilized the triple time stamping technique to complete the design.
I carried through the stamped images of evergreens and berries on the inside of my card. The Greetings of the Season Stamp Set was used for the external greeting and inside sentiment.
