Today I am excited to share a “sneak peek” of the Sweet Citrus Bundle from the upcoming 2023 January – April Mini Catalog. The Sweet Citrus Bundle first caught my attention while I was paging through the catalog at Onstage. The bundle includes the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder and Sweet Citrus Dies. I love that you can change the look of the citrus fruit by using different color inks.
While summer is far off, the Sweet Citrus Bundle lends itself to warmer weather and sunshine. Below, you will see several cards in a variety of colors. For the video, I decided to use a Melon Mambo card base paired with Melon Mambo Designer Series Paper. The Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing folder added texture and dimension to the front of the card. Once stamped, the images were cut using the Hybrid Embossing folder and Sweet Citrus dies. This added depth and interest to the fruit.

Sweet Citrus: It’s All In the Color

I love the versatility of the Sweet Citrus Bundle. I can change the look of the citrus fruit, just by changing the colors, in which I use to stamp. The card base uses Highland Heather. I stamped the citrus images using So Saffron for a softer, more subtle look of lemons.
Here, I used Bermuda Bay. To achieve the look of oranges, I stamped the outline images using Mango Melody and the fruit portion using Pale Papaya.
