Today, rather than feature a stamp set, bundle or an “over the top” card, I chose to make six quick and easy cards using one piece of Designer Series Paper. My focus is on one particular sheet of the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper from the 2023 Sale-a bration brochure. The cards in today’s post, are part of the Sweethearts Global Collective Blog Hop. We are a group of International Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who love to share our creations with each other and you in hopes of providing inspiration and ideas for your paper crafting.

I love this layout in Designer Series Papers. When cut 4″ x 5 1/4″, you can easily make six cards. The “white center” is perfect for stamping sentiments directly on the paper or providing an area to “pop up” with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Depending on whether or not, the Designer Series Paper is being adhered to a layer of card stock, it can be trimmed to 3 3/4″ x 5″ providing a quarter inch strip for the inside edge of the card. Below are six cards ranging from very basic to “stepped up” by adding layers, ribbon and heat embossing.

The card on the left is “simple stamping.” Simply stamps, ink and paper. The Designer Series Paper measured 4: x 5 1/4″ and was adhered directly to the card base. The card on the right is a slightly “stepped up version. The Designer Series Paper measures 3 3/4″ x 5″ and is mounted on a 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer of Crushed Curry. The Black and White 1/4” Gingham Ribbon adds some interest to the card.

Watch the video below to see how to make the cards. Further down in this post, you will find a printable pdf tutorial with measurements and a supply list. I would love to hear from you! Leave me a comment below and let me know which one you like best!
