Easy Hidden Flap Fun Fold – Must Try Card Design

Whether seasoned or new—you’re going to love this easy Hidden Flap Fun Fold! This design is not only quick to create but also requires minimal supplies, making it perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a fast yet impressive project. Using the Terrific Toadstools Bundle, which includes delightful stamps and a coordinating punch, we’ll make a whimsical card that’s as fun to make as it is to give. To show the versatility of the design, I’ve included two bonus cards using two different bundles for added inspiration!

Easy Hidden Flap Fun Fold Card Design

I used two pieces of 5 1/2′ X 4 1/4″ pieces of card stock to design my card. One piece serves as the “base,” while the second piece is the “fold.” I chose to use the Toadstool Gardens 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper for most of my layers. On the front layer, I stamped one stem for a toadstool directly on the Designer Series Paper. I, then, stamped the toadstool caps and punched out using the Terrific Toadstool Builder Punch. I love that this card is quick, easy, and a perfect design for any occasion.

Mixed Media Florals

There is no doubt that this Hidden Flap Fun Fold shows off the Mixed Media Florals 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. Paired with the Mixed Floral and Mixed Labels Bundle, this card was easy and fun!

I used the Spotlight On Nature Dies for my focal point. Pulling colors from the Designer Series Paper, I stamped the leaves tone-on-tone using Granny Apple Green. Next, I used Calypso Coral to stamp the floral image on Petal Pink carrying through the design on the paper.

Heart Shaped Bundle Easy

I had so much fun making this card using the Heart Shaped Bundle. For the card base, I used Real Red. I layered with Basic White dry embossed using the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder.

For the focal point, I cut two hearts using the Festive and 2024 -2026 Glimmer Papers. For the inside, I simply stamped the heart with my greeting inside the image, perfect for this easy hidden flap fun fold layout.
