I love fun folds. So, I thought I would share an “oldie but goodie.” Today, we are going to have fun with the Matchbook Fun Fold. This card is easy for beginners and allows experienced stampers to have fun and be creative!
For the video demonstration, I chose to to use the Translucent Florals Bundle and Delightful Florals Designer Series Paper. I used the largest rectangle from the Nested Essentials Dies for my focal point. Since I wanted to recreate the look of the two-tone leaves in the Designer Paper, I inked the stamp with Parakeet Party and used a dauber to add Pretty Peacock to the edges and center of the leaves prior to stamping. I stamped the die cut flower with Berry Burst. Brushed Brass Butterflies were used to embellish the card front. Overall, this card is easy and quick allowing you to make several at one time.
I used Tuxedo Black Momento ink to stamp the sentiment. Next, I added a combined strip of Blackberry Bliss and a matching piece of Designer Series Paper to finish off the inside.
In the video below, I demonstrate how to easily make a Matchbook Fun Fold card. Further down in the post, you will find additional cards and the measurements, supplies and a downloadable PDF with instructions for the card made during the video. Leave me a comment as I would love your thoughts on the on this easy fun fold card!
