In Symmetry Bundle, Day 2 – Simple Stamping
As promised, today is Day 2 of featuring the In Symmetry Bundle for my stamping group. The goal is to show to simple cards that beginners will find easy to make. With that said, today’s card is made using, just, stamps, ink and paper. Now, don’t let that discourage you because simplicity is beautiful!
As yesterday’s card, I used the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper to choose my color scheme and to design my card. If you look closely at the Designer Series Paper, you will see that my stamped image is copied from an image in the Designer Series Paper. Layered on Night of Navy, the stamped image “pops” and becomes the focal point of my card. I added a few Artistry Blooms Sequins for some “bling.”
The greetings are, also, from the In Symmetry Stamp Set. The external greeting, “Thanks So Much” was fussy cut to add some dimension and interest to the card. The inside of the card is layered with Basic White stamped in Night of Navy. A thin strip of matching Designer Series Paper adds a pop of color and finishes off the inside of the card.
