Today, I am sharing more card making ideas and inspiration using the Round We Go Bundle by Stampin’ Up! In my previous post, I focused on using the stamps to create pinwheels and backgrounds, as well as, some dies. Today, I am focusing on how to use the largest of the Round We Go Dies to create a rosette. I will, also, show you how to layer the pinwheel dies to add depth and interest to your cards!
How to make the Round We Go Bundle Rosette
One of the coolest features to the Round We Go Bundle is the ability to create rosettes! Designer Series Paper is perfect for this and the options are limitless! Below, I used Pecan Pie for the card base layered with Basic White dry embossed with the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder.
For my rosettes, I chose two patterns from Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper. One pattern was a plaid and the other was a polka dot. In the video tutorial, below, I go over some tips for die cutting directional patterns and creating different size rosettes.
Once, my rosettes were done, I decided to add a pinwheel. Here, I used Peach Pie, Pumpkin Pie and 2024 -2026 In Color Glimmer Specialty Paper for the die cuts. Beautiful fall colors! To finish up, I chose to embellish the card front with Earth Tones Shimmer Gems.
On the inside of the card, I added a 1/4″ strip of matching Designer Series Paper layered on a 3/8″ strip of Pecan Pipe card stock.
