In Symmetry, Day 1 – Simple Stamping
This week, I am the Featured Stamper for our Stampin’ Up! group. As a Featured Stamper, I had to pick a bundle from the 2021 -2022 Annual Catalog. I chose the In Symmetry Bundle. I was assigned the week of January 31, 2022. So, with that said, beginning today through Friday, February 4, 2022, I will be adding a card, product supply list and downloadable tutorial daily. On Friday, February 4, I will add a video demonstrating, at least, one of the five cards. Maybe, more!
Why did I choose the In Symmetry Bundle? The artistic designs of the stamped images paired with the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper (DSP) is awesome! The bold colors include: Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, Just Jade, Night of Navy, and Whisper White. The colors scream: artistic, happy, carefree, bold.
My first card is great for beginners. It doesn’t get much easier when you use just stamps, ink and papers. So that’s exactly what I did! I always stay within the color palette of my Designer Series Paper. In this card, I used: Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, Just Jade and Night of Navy. Not only did I use the colors that coordinated with the paper, I used the coordinating stamps. Look closely at the DSP and the stamped images. They coordinate in shape and color!
