Double Front Flap Fun Fold For An Easy Favorite

Today, I am sharing one of my favorites, a Double Front Flap Fun Fold. In addition, you are getting a “sneak peek” at the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle and Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper from the upcoming 2024-2025 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.

The Double Front Flap Fun Fold consists of two card bases. The larger card base resembles a gate fold and perfect for displaying Designer Series Paper. Below, I used Petunia Pop, one of the new 2024 – 2026 In Colors, for my card bases. The smaller card base is centered and adhered along the right fold of the larger card base. It is important that the folds of, both, cards are even.

For my focal point, I stamped the leaves with Mossy Meadow. The flowers were stamped with Petunia Pop and die cut. I used the 2024-2026 In-Color Resin Dots for embellishing the front of my card.

Double Front Flap Fun Fold: Inside of Cards

On the inside of the smaller card base, I chose to color the flowers using Stampin’ Write Markers. This allowed me to stamp a multi-colored image. When using markers to apply color to stamps, it is important to use the side of the brush and not the tip. Using the tip, can damage the end of the brush.

On the inside of the larger card base, I added a matching strip of Designer Series Paper. I, also, stamped the leaves in the lower right corner of the Basic White layer.

In the video below, I demonstrate how to create a Double Front Flap Fun Fold Card. During the video, I use different color card stock, otherwise, the card is the same as the one above. There are tips for using Stampin’ Write Markers to color directly on the stamps to provide multi-color images.
