Today’s cards are the second in my weekly series The Twelve Weeks of Christmas. I used the Fabulous Frames Dies to make not one card, but two cards from one die cut. I will admit, I did not plan this when I pulled out the die set. But immediately, I realized that the three pieces that result from cutting the largest frame could make two cards. After using the Fabulous Frame Dies, I think they are a hidden gem.

I chose to use Starry Sky for my base with the Snowflake Vellum Specialty Paper. The iridescent foil and flocking on the vellum is striking with the dark blue color. The Seasonal Label Dies were used to die cut the greetings. I chose to heat emboss one of the greetings using White Embossing powder, while the second greeting was stamped with Starry Sky and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels were used to add some “bling” to the front of each card. Basic White was used for the inside layers. The snowflake stamp from Seasons of Chic was stamped on diagonal corners with Starry Sky Ink.

Watch the video below to see how to use the different pieces from the die cut frame, as well as, tips for adhering vellum and heat embossing with Classic Ink. Further down, you will find the measurements, written instructions and supply list. Additionally, there is one more card. I would love to hear from you!
