Today, I am excited to share with you a “sneak peek” of of two cards made with the upcoming online exclusives, the Irresistible Blooms Bundle and Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper. These products are just a part of the Online Exclusives that Stampin’ Up! will release beginning March 1, 2023.
The Irresistible Blooms Bundle offers floral images to color and a variety of greetings in bolded fonts. I love that I was able to cut images from the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper with the Irresistible Blooms dies. The coordination of the paper and dies made it quick and easy to design my card. The paper is not only stunning, but includes two retired Stampin’ Up! colors, Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon, thereby suggesting a possible color refresh in the near future.
Card Design Using Irresistible Blooms
Because I used dies from the bundle to cut floral images from the Designer Series Paper, I had to do very little stamping. I chose Basic Black and Flirty Flamingo for the card bases. I chose to use one of embossing folders from another upcoming online exclusive, the Basic 3D Embossing Folders.
Watch the video below for instructions for both cards, as well as, some tips for using the dies and embossing folders. Further down in the post, you will see a downloadable PDF with measurements and a supply list. Leave me a comment. I would love to hear which card you like best!
Irresistible Blooms “Thank You”
Tthe embossing folder I chose had a pattern resembling hashtags and provided a subtle background that complemented the design of the cards. I used the Something Fancy Dies to cut the Basic Black Matte and layer of Basic White for my greeting.
I stamped the “hello” greeting on the Basic White layer prior to using the embossing folder. Next, I used the rectangular detailed die in the Irresistible Blooms Bundle and die cut from a watercolor piece of the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper. The first time I used this die, I used a fine tip glue bottle to apply the adhesive. During the video, I thought it might be easier to use a Adhesive Sheet on the back of the paper. This didn’t work out because the “strands” in the design are so thin, it was difficult to remove the backing of the adhesive. As a result, I resorted to fine tip glue.
Supply List (Thank You)
As this is a “Sneak Peek” at the time of this post, some of the supplies are not available until March 1, 2023. I will update the Downloadable Tutorials at that time to include pictures of the supplies. Meanwhile, the products with the product code are written in on the tutorial.
