Today, I am using the Earthen Textures Bundle by Stampin’ Up! to make a thank you card. The bundle is from the 2023 – 2024 Annual Catalog that went live on May 2nd. Paired with Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper and Natural 1/4″ Wavy Trim the three products make up the Earthen Elegance Suite. The best way I can describe Earthen Textures is: “boho,” earthy, eclectic, artisan and relaxing.
I chose Pecan Pie for my card base and decided on Crumb Cake for an embossed layer. Since I was using brown tones for my card, I chose to use Very Vanilla for, both, the inside and stamped images. I used Pretty Peacock and Copper Clay for stamping my images. The Distressed Gold Specialty Paper was perfect for die cutting foliage. I really wanted to add some texture and interest to one of the vases, so I wrapped the Natural 1/4″ Wavy Trim around the tallest vase to provide a “braided look.” I heat embossed the sentiments with Gold Embossing Powder. Finally, I placed a single Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dot on the card front.
The video below will show you the supplies I used, as well as, the instructions for making this beautiful card. Further down in the post, you will find a second card, supplies and a downloadable PDF tutorial. Leave me a comment, I would love to know your thoughts of what you think of the bundle!
