Cactus Cuties is the perfect stamp set for beginners to advanced stampers. Today, we are going to make Cactus Cuties Notecards and go from simple stamping to “steppin’ it up” by adding layers and embellishments. If you are a beginning stamper, you don’t need a ton of “stuff” to get started stamping. All you need is stamps, ink and paper. And if, you are a veteran stamper, you already know you can take a stamp set and do simple stamping and add a few layers and embellishments and turn it into a “stepped up version.”
I used the Basic White Notecards and Envelopes, Cactus Cuties Bundle, scraps Designer Series Paper from Artfully Composed and Design a Daydream. I paired it up with four ink pads: Calypso Coral, Pale Papaya, Evening Evergreen and Old Olive; added some Linen Thread and gems and created three versions of the same card. I went from simple stamping to a stepped of version in the end! I challenge you to look at the Designer Series Papers you have and use them!
