Ice Cream Swirl Bundle: Sneak Peek

For this post, I thought I would give you a sneak peek of the Stampin’ Up! Ice Cream Swirl Bundle. This bundle will be available beginning January 4, 2024 and gives the versatility of doing either a cone or a bowl of soft serve ice cream in a swirl. There is a die that adds the waffle weave to the cone. Your dessert can include a strawberry, cherry, sprinkles and even a cookie straw! This is a great bundle if you are new to stamping and card making.

Ice Cream Swirl Bundle Card Design

I decided to make an easy birthday card using the dies from the bundle to create an ice cream cone! To add some interest to my cone, I decided to use Soft 12″ x 12″ Shimmer Paper in Bubble Bath for the ice cream and the Textured 12″ x 12″ Shimmer Paper in white for the swirls. I used Crumb cake for the cone. After choosing my ice cream colors, I decided on Melon Mambo for the card base.

I layered the Melon Mambo card base with Basic White embossed with the Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder that will be available with Sale-a-bration. I stamped the sentiments using Tuxedo Black Momento ink. The external sentiment, “Make A Wish,” was die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I used Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots, also, in the 2024 January – April Mini Catalog, to embellish the front of my card.

I, simply, embossed a 1/2″ strip of Melon Mambo with the Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the edge of my Basic White inside layer. I stamped the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Momento ink, leaving plenty of room for a personalized message.
