Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Thank You Card: Sneak Peek

Today’s card is “sneak peek” at a Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Thank You card. The card uses the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Bundle and All About Autumn Designer Series Paper that is in the 2023 September – December Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog available on September 6th. This bundle is amazing with so many opportunities, but today, I want to share an easy thank you card that is truly picturesque! Why is it picturesque? “Picturesque” is the first word that came to mind when I looked at the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper. The paper truly was the inspiration for my Autumn Leaves Thank You card design.

Autumn Leaves Thank You Card Design

I chose my colors from the Designer Series Paper: Copper Clay for the card base layered with Very Vanilla embossed with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I chose the portion of the Designer Paper that I wanted to use. I cut it into three equal panels and matted each panel on Crushed Curry card stock leaving 1/16″ of an edge all the way around. This layout is quick, easy and maintains the integrity of the scene or picture you are using. The largest leaf from the Autumn Leaves Bundle was a perfect focal point. I stamped it in Crushed Curry, die cut it and used Dimensionals to “pop” it up on the front. I finished up by die cutting the greeting using a banner from Stylish Shapes Dies and adding a Linen Thread bow.

Autumn Leaves Thank You Card Inside

On the inside, I matted a strip of All About Autumn Designer Series Paper on Crushed Curry card stock and adhered it to the left edge of a piece of Very Vanilla. Next, I used the same leaf stamp with Crushed Curry in the lower right corner. This allowed me to carry the design from the front of my card through to the inside with enough room for a personalized note.
