Tri-Fold Fun Fold Card Made Easy

Today, I am sharing a Tri-Fold Fun Fold card that is quick and easy to make. I have made this card in the past, but had actually forgotten about it until the 2023 Creativate Retreat. The Tri-Fold fun fold is perfect for letting Designer Series Paper do most of the work. In the video, I use the Cheerful Daisies Bundle and, both, sides of a single sheet of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper. But, you can use any paper! You can even make your own by stamping. So let’s get started!

Tri-Fold Fun Fold Card Design

The piece of Designer Series Paper that I chose had the colors Moody Mauve, Bubble Bath, Basic White, Wild Wheat and Copper Clay. The reverse side was Wild Wheat with the appearance of brush strokes. I decided on Moody Mauve for my card base. If you look below, you can see I alternated the different sides of the paper throughout my card. To keep the tri-fold closed, I decided on a “belly band” with a die cut daisy. I used one of the 2023-2025 In Color Dots to embellish the band. Below, you will see several more tri-fold fun folds in different colors.

  • 5 1/2″ x 11″ scored at 1 1/4″, 5 1/2″, 9 1/4″ (card base)
  • 1 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ (belly band)
• Basic White
  • 3 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ ( inside layer )
  • 1″ x 3 1/2″ (sentiment)
• Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper
