The Hello Ladybug Bundle is perfect for making simple, cute cards. Not only that, it is fun to use. The Hello Lady Bug Bundle is Stampin’ Up’s Bundle Focus for February. Today’s cards are quick and easy. The leaf and flowers are perfect for stamping your own background or designer paper. The cards feature the All Together Designer Series Paper. Just a note, since the All Together Designer Series Paper will be time limited, substitute another DSP, as needed. The video demonstrates how to use one 6″ x 6″ sheet of Designer Series Paper to make two cards. Watch the video for instructions. Hello Ladybug Polka Dots
Measurements:
- Basic White Thick Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
- Basic:
- White: Scrap for greeting and stamping flowers
- Black: Scraps for punching ladybug
- Real Red: Scraps for punching ladybug wings and circle mat for greeting.
- All Together DSP: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Cut the Designer Series Paper to fit the full front of the card 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Use the layering circle dies to cut the “window” out of the layer of DSP. Use the layer of DSP to lightly mark the area within to stamp. After stamping the image, adhere DSP to card front. “Fussy” cut the flowers and pop the flowers and ladybug on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere a 1/8″ strip of DSP to the inside bottom of the card. The photopolymer stamp allows you to see where you are stamping. Stamp the ladybug along the edge of the DSP so that it appears as though it is walking.
Hello Ladybug Polished Pink
Measurements:
- Polished Pink: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
- Basic:
- White: 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ (inside); scraps for greetings
- Black: Scraps for punching ladybugs (3)
- Real Red: scraps for punching ladybugs (3)
- DSP: Circle from front layer of first card, 7/8″ x 5 1/2″ (2)
Using a piece of Basic White Cardstock, stamp a background using the leaves and flowers. Adhere 7/8″ strips of designer paper to the edges. Add this layer to the card base. Pop-up the ladybugs using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp greeting and die cut using Layering Circle Dies or a punch. Adhere to the cutout circle of DSP left over from first card. Glue ladybug on Basic White layer and adhere layer to inside of card.
