Today, I am using the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Citrus stamps and hybrid embossing folder to to create a carding using the sentiment “sending you a big squeeze.” I love the freshness and versatility of Sweet Citrus – and it screams summer! The images can be stamped to resemble lemons, oranges, limes, grapefruits and, yes, even coconuts. The stamp set coordinates with the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder and dies adding to the versatility in card making.
Sweet Citrus: Sending You A Big Squeeze – Thank You
Below, I used Lemon Lolly for my card base and layered with an embossed piece of Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper. Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lolly were used to stamp the citrus images and Lemon Lime Twist for the leaves. Next, I embossed and die cut the stamped images using the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder. For my greeting, I used a Basic White die cut from Nested Essentials. I stamped the greeting to the right allowing me to arrange and attach my die cut images on the left. I finished off with a Black and White Gingham bow.
For the inside of my card, I kept it simple. I stamped my sentiment and added a few flowers in the lower right corner. I colored the flowers with Stampin’ Blends Markers.
