At the beginning of each year, I take stock of my birthday cards so that I can plan what I need to do. Because I always need more feminine birthday cards the first four months of the year, I decided to make a birthday card using the Fancy Flora Suite. The products in this Suite are stunning. The Fine Shimmer Paper, Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper and the Iridescent Pastel Gems compliment one another to make a beautiful birthday card.
I cased my card from the 2023 January – April Mini Catalog. The colors were: Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen, and Fresh Freesia, thus coordinating perfectly with the Designer Series Paper I chose to use. The two-step stamping added interest and dimension to the floral images. The leaves were heat embossed using White Embossing Powder on Soft Succulent. Sprigs were cut from the gold Fine Shimmer Paper. Iridescent Pastel Gems added just enough bling to create a beautiful birthday card.
