Pop Out Fun Fold Using Country Bouquet

January 9, 2023 by Kathi 2 Comments

9 Jan

My favorite cards are fun folds. Today’s card is a Pop Out Fun Fold using the Country Bouquet Suite. For the most part, I like quick and easy cards, so when I first looked at this fun fold, I was a little intimidated. I’m here to tell you, don’t be. It really doesn’t take any more time or skill than any other card, so give it a try!

I chose products from the Country Floral Lane Suite. Specifically, the Country Bouquet Bundle and the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper. Sweet Sorbet was used for the primary card base of my pop out fun fold. The Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper does the rest of the work. Stamping for this card was minimal – greetings and a few hearts. For my images, I used the Country Bouquet Punch to cut matching images from the Designer Series Paper.

Watch the video below to see how to make the card. Further down in this post, you will find a printable pdf tutorial with measurements and a supply list. Additionally, there is a second pop out fun fold posted below. I would love to hear from you! Leave me a comment below and let me know which one you like best!

This is what the Pop Out Fun Fold looks like when the card is closed. It is a regular size card that will fit in a medium sized envelope (5 3/4″ x 4 3/8″). Since the card has accordion folds and several layer, I chose not to “pop up” my images. This made it easier to mail, if I chose to do so.

The front of the card is accordion pleated with the pop out. A single Designer Series Paper was used to cover the accordion pleats of the fun fold.
