Today, I am going to demonstrate how to make a jaw-dropping wedding card using the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Inn Suite. From the suite, I used the Countryside Corners Dies, Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder, and the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper. Since I wanted to add die cut floral images, I chose to use the Two-Tone Flora Bundle. My greetings were from the Something Fancy Stamp set.
Since Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper consists of blues and white, I chose the colors from the Designer Series Paper. The card base was Misty Moonlight layered with a Basic White layer embossed with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. Next, I cut two different layers from the Designer Series Paper using the Countryside Corner Dies and nested them on one another. A smaller Basic White layer was used for the greeting and to mount the die cut images.
The Two-Tone Flora Stamp set is a two-step stamp. Thus, I used Boho Blue for the solid stamp and Night of Navy for the detailed stamp. These two colors complimented the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper, beautifully. I embellished the card front using Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels on the embossed layer. I, then, colored three pearls with the Boho Blue Stampin’ Blends Marker and added those under the sentiment.
The video below will demonstrate how how to make the card, as well as, some tips and tricks for using two-step stamps. Further down in the post, you will find picture with more hints for making this card. You will, also, find the supplies, measurements and instructions with a downloadable PDF. Leave me a comment, I would love to know what you think of this wedding card!
Inside of Countryside Inn Wedding Card and Envelope
My greetings were from the Something Fancy Stamp set. Greetings were stamped on a Basic White layer using Night of Navy. A 3/8″ x 5″ strip of matching Designer Series Paper was adhered to the bottom edge of the Basic White layer. I embossed the envelope flap with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. This added elegance to the envelope and matched the embossed layer of the card creating a stunning piece of stationary!
