Today, I am playing with Stampin’ Up! Pick of the Patch Bundle. This bundle is perfect for fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving! Below, you will see two different cards using the sentiment “thanks so much.” With, both cards, I used partial embossing with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder. If you are unfamiliar with the partial embossing technique, the link to a previous video I did demonstrating partial embossing can be found toward the end of the post.
Pick of the patch Bundle and Glorious Gingham
For my first card, I used Pecan Pie with the Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper. I partially embossed the upper and lower border using the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder. Afterwards, I used my scoreboard to run a score line along the embossed edge. I, then, placed my Designer Series Paper between the embossed edges. Because I wanted a “clean” look and did not want to add anything more than the pumpkins to the card. I decided to stamp my sentiment on one of the pumpkins and added a few Adhesive Backed Solid Gems to the card front.
In the video, below, I provide tips creating a stencil to stamp and cut from your punch, partial embossing and design of two cards. Further down in the post, you will see each card individually. there is, also, measurements, supplies and downloadable PDF. Leave me a comment, I would love to know which one you like best!
I like to keep the inside of my cards clean and simple. For the card above, I simply put a strip of matching card stock and Designer Series Paper at the edge of the inside layer.
Pick of the Patch Thanks So Much
For my second card, I decided to stamp on the “open space” provided by partial embossing. I used Crushed Curry with a layer of Mossy Meadow. Two bold and beautiful fall colors. I stamped the tree with Pecan Pie and the leaves with Crushed Curry. Then, I created my pumpkin patch around the images. Since I had considerable space left, I decided to die cut the small rectangle from Nested Essential Dies. The Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots and a Linen Thread bow were perfect for embellishing the front of my card.
As the first card, I kept the inside simple and carried through my design. I simply dry embossed the Basic White layer on the right edge and left the rest blank to write a personalized note.

Thank you, Kylie! I apologize for the delay in my response. I had been ill over the past month.
