Hot Air Balloon Bundle: Sneak Peek

During the Stampin’ Up! Onstage virtual event, I was able to see the products coming available January 4, 2024. One of the products that caught my eye was the Hot Air Balloon Bundle. This bundle can be bought separately, or as part of the Lighter Than Air Suite. The Suite includes the Hot Air Balloon Bundle, Lighter Than Air 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots, and Baker’s Twine 3-Color Pack. Whether you buy the Suite or certain products within the bundle, I can, almost, guarantee you won’t be disappointed! Well are you ready for that “sneak peek?”

Hot Air Balloon Card Design

I chose Azure Afternoon for my card base. Next, I chose a patterned piece of Lighter Than Air Designer Series Paper that was Balmy Blue. From there, I chose the ink colors that I would use to stamp the balloons. I chose to use Azure Afternoon, Pool Party and Petal Pink.

First, I layered Designer Series Paper on Basic White. I, then, stamped the smaller balloons on a 1 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ Basic White strip using Pool Party and Petal Pink. Next, I stamped the large hot air balloon using Azure Afternoon and Pool Party. The baskets for the balloons were stamped using Copper Clay. After die cutting the large balloon and basket, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere them to the card front. The sentiment was stamped using Tuxedo Black Momento Ink and die cut using the banner from the bundle. The Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots were used to embellish the front.

Hot Air Balloon Inside of Card

For the inside of my card, I, stamped the smaller balloon using Pool Party and Petal Pink and die cut the image. I adhered the image to the upper left corner with some overlap that I trimmed off. The sentiment was stamped using Tuxedo Black Momento Ink.
