This week, I have been focused on the Flowering Tulip Bundle. Today, I am going to make quick and easy notecards simply using stamps, ink and paper. Who says, simple stamping isn’t beautiful? The old adage, “less is better” can definitely apply to these notecards. The Flowering Tulips stamps are two steps. It can be described as one “detailed” stamp and one “filler.” The video below demonstrates the two-step stamping and directions for the cards. Further down in the post, is a list of supplies. Leave me a comment below and let me know which card you like best!
When using a two-step stamp, there are two options. First you can use a different color for each step . The example here shows Melon Mambo for the “detailed” stamp and Blushing Bride for the “filler.”
In this example, as well as the video, I used a monochromatic approach by using the same color for both steps. But, the second step, I stamped off once prior to stamping my image. This allowed me to use simply one color, but by stamping off, the “filler” or second color was lighter.
