Today, I am sharing three card ideas for making White On White Cards. I love the clean and stunning look of white on white! Additionally, this design, often, does not require a lot of supplies. Today, I am using embossing folders and die cuts to create three stunning White On White cards!
White on White Sympathy Card
My first card is a sympathy card using the Sketched Butterflies Dies. I used a Basic White Thick card base. Next, I dry embossed a layer of Basic White using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. To add some dimension, I adhered the detailed butterflies using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment and the Black & Very Vanilla 3/8″ Large Checked Ribbon added a little “pop” of color. The Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels added an elegant finish to the card!
On the inside of the card, I added a Basic White layer. Here, I added one of the distinctive butterfly die cuts.
White On White Anniversary Card
Here, I made an anniversary card for my daughter and son-in-law. Since their anniversary is in October, I used the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder and dies. I love the detail in the embossed leaves. First, I embossed a layer of Basic White. I, then, embossed a second layer of Basic White while die cutting the leaves with the hybrid embossing folder. Next, I adhered the leaves to the embossed layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Prior to adding the embossed layer to the card base, I trimmed the edges of the leaves even with the embossed layer.
The sentiment was from the Everyday Greeting Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed the sentiment using Metallic Gold Embossing Powder, before die cutting it with the Stylish Shapes dies. I, again, used the Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels to embellish the card.
On the inside, I added some dimension and texture to my Basic White layer by scoring 1/4″ around the edges. I used a sentiment from Lifetime Of Love and heat embossed using the Metallic Gold Embossing Powder.

White On White Christmas Card
For my last card, I chose to make a holiday card using the Reindeer Fun and Grove Dies. Here, I die cut the circle wreath using a die from Reindeer Fun. Afterwards, I dry embossed the layer using the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder. I used the Grove dies to die cut the two deer. Then, I adhered the deer and the embossed layer to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used a sentiment from the Peaceful Season stamp set. Here, I chose to stamp using Cherry Cobbler before die cutting with the Stylish Shapes Dies. For some sparkle, I used the Iridescent 1/2″ Striped Trim to add a piece of ribbon, before adding Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels as an embellishment.
In the video tutorial below, I demonstrate how to make the White On White Sympathy card. At the end of the video, I show you the anniversary and holiday cards with tips on what I used to design those cards. I hope you enjoyed these stunning White On White cards, as much as, I enjoyed doing them for you! Leave me a comment below and let me know you thoughts on this style of card.
