This week, my focus was on simple card making. But, beyond that, I wanted to show you cards that are easy to make, take very little time and supplies, end up gorgeous the same as one that may take you an hour to craft rather than minutes. So, today, I am demonstrating how to craft cards in minutes using the Layering Leaves Bundle and Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder.
Today’s card is, also, great for beginning card makers and requires very little in supplies. In fact, the images can be colored with Stampin’ Write Markers if you don’t have all the stamp pads. Additionally, the design is transferable to other stamp sets and embossing folders that you may have.
I chose Blueberry Bushel for the card base, a returning color I have not yet used. The card front is layered with Basic White embossed with the Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder. The colors for stamped images are: Soft Seafoam, Pool Party, and Melon Mambo. The sentiment was die cut using the Nested Essentials Dies, one of my favorites. To finish off the front of my card, I used the Tinsel Gems Four Pack and Linen Thread.
The video below will demonstrate how to craft this card in minutes, as well as, some tips for combining the layering leaves. Further down in the post, you will find the inside to the card. You will, also, find the supplies, measurements and instructions with a downloadable PDF. Leave me a comment, I would love to know if you think a simple card is boring?
