Easy Card Making With Stamps, Ink and Paper

For this month’s Mystery Stamping, I kept things simple. The card design used stamps, ink and paper for easy card making. Now, that doesn’t mean that you couldn’t step-it up by using dies or punches. However, my whole point to this month’s Mystery Stamping was to show how easy it is to make a beautiful card without all the “extras.” I used a basic card design, applicable to just about any stamp set, with just a few supplies. Let’s take a look!

Easy Card Making Idea

I chose an basic template or sketch for the design. First, I chose my Designer Series Paper. Then, I chose the rest of my colors. I used Unbounded Beauty 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. Next, I chose Summer Splash for my card base, layered with Basic Black and Basic White. My stamped images were from the Flowers of Beauty Stamp Set. For the outside of my card, I chose a sentiment from Unbounded Love. My inside sentiment was from the Hope You Know Stamp set. For embellishments, I chose to use the Berry Burst from the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack. I finished off my adding a matching piece of Designer Series Paper to my envelope flap. Together, my card and envelope created a beautiful piece of stationary!

On the inside of the card, I stamped leaf image that I had used on the card front. I finished off by adding a matching pieces of Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap creating a stunning piece of stationary!
