Easy Front Panel Fun Fold Card

If you are looking for an easy fun fold, you are going to want to give this easy Front Panel Fun Fold card a try! I love the versatility and ease of this design. In the four cards, below, I chose to use a more avid card design using embossing folders, die cuts and embellishments. Each card has a matching envelope creating a beautiful piece of stationary.

Below, is the Front Panel Fun Fold that I demonstrated during my LIVE Card Class. I chose to mix the old with the new. Something that I enjoy doing quite often! Here, I used the Autumn Leaves Stamps and Dies with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder. I paired it with some new products from the upcoming 2024 September – December Mini Catalog: Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, Natural Tones Linen Thread and Faux Glass Dots. Products from this catalog will be available September 4, 2024.

A Front Panel Fun Fold Template

The Front Panel Fun Fold uses a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ card base scored at 4 1/4″. To create the front panel, you will cut 1 3/4″ from the bottom edge of the card front to the score line. This portion of the card front will be adhered to the inside of the card leaving the front panel that “flips up.” Making this front panel is truly what makes this front panel fun fold unique.

For the inside of the card, I chose to add a 1/4″ strip of matching Designer Series Paper to a 3/8″ strip of Cajun Craze card stock to the right edge of the Basic White layer, adding a cohesive look to this fun fold card.
