This week is the sixth week in my Twelve Weeks of Christmas. I wanted to focus on holiday cards that were clean and simple. I have struggled with clean and simple design in the past. But, time and experience have taught me “more is not, necessarily, better.”
In planning my card, I wanted to go with a nontraditional holiday color. No reds or greens and I needed one holiday card that I could send to family and friends who do not celebrate Christmas. As I tend to be negligent at using up my Specialty Papers, I chose to use the Snowflake 12″ x 12″ Specialty Vellum. The iridescent foil and white flocking on the vellum against a Starry Sky card stock made for beautiful cards. The snowflake from the Celebrations Tags dies, White Glittered Organdy Ribbon and Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels were a perfect match to finish off these holiday cards.
Watch the video below to see how to make these clean and simple Christmas Cards. Further down in this post, you will find the measurements, written instructions and supply list. I would love to hear from you! Leave me a comment below and let me know which one you like best!
