Today, I decided to “get crafty” with the Stampin’ Up! Happy Houseplants Kit! I don’t think I have ever demonstrated the use of a Stampin’ Up! Kit and I’m not really sure why I haven’t! Now, I am not a collector, by any means, but I do like shadow boxes or smaller frames to display of shelves. When I saw the Happy Houseplants Kit, I knew that was one I wanted to make!
Stampin’ Up! Kits are great for beginners and experienced crafters, alike. The Happy Houseplants Kit, like all of the Stampin’ Up! kits is all-inclusive. Everything you need to complete the project is included in the box! The kits are, also, great if you have limited space to store supplies. I love doing kits with my children and grandchildren. Finally, I have gifted kits to friends who are recuperating from an illness or surgery so that they have something to do!

Below, is how I used my Happy Houseplants in my decor. I mounted them on kitchen tile under my cabinets. The arch was a perfect focal point for displaying my creations. At night, the under cabinet lighting will continue to display their beauty! Quick tip–I used Velcro tabs to mount the frames. Velcro is easy to replace, if needed, and it allows me to remove it and move to another area, if I ever decided I wanted them to have a different home! But most importantly, no damage to the tile!!!
