Using a Sketch For Card Making Ideas

December 14, 2022 by Kathi Leave a Comment

14 Dec

I am, often, asked where I get my ideas for card making? While there are several resources, today, I am going to focus on using a sketch for card making ideas. There is no hard and fast rule for using a sketch. They are readily available if you do an internet search or on Pinterest. This is such an easy “idea generator,” mainly because it allows you to interpret what you are seeing.

In the video below, I will demonstrate one card using the sketch above. At the end of the video, I will show you three more cards. While all were a result of using the sketch, each one a little different from the other. Once I got started, I had other ideas and used other stamp sets, dies and Designer Series Paper.

Watch the video below to see how to use a sketch for card making ideas. Further down in this post, you will find a printable pdf tutorial and supply list. I would love to hear from you! Leave me a comment below and let me know which one you like best!
