Today, I combining two fun fold card designs: an Accordion fold and a Z-Fold. Together, these two designs create a unique Accordion Z-Fold card. I love the overall look and design of the card, as well as, how easily it comes together. Additionally, the fold can be made either in portrait or landscape mode and displays beautifully!

I chose Real Red for the card base paired with two patterns from Sentimental Christmas 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. As with many fun fold designs, the Accordion Z-Fold card does a great job of showing off Designer Series Paper.

I started with two card bases to create my card. A larger card base measured 5 1/2″ x 11″ scored at 1 3/4″, 3 1/2″, 5 1/4″, 7″. While the smaller card base measured 3″ x 6″ scored at 3″. Together, the two card bases create the Accordion Z-Fold card.

I used the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and the Sophisticated Sled Bundle to create the focal point. The wreath was stamped with Garden Green. Next, I used Stampin Blends and colored pencils to color the wreath. I used the Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Pepperments with a Real Red bow for embellishments.

  1. Kathi,
Love the Accordion Z-fold card; however, the instructions state to score at 8″ and your video is correct–score at 7″.
