Delicate Desert Suite For Beautiful Cards

January 20, 2023 by Kathi Leave a Comment

20 Jan

Today, I chose to use the products from the Delicate Desert Suite. Desert Details Bundle consists of a distinctive stamp set with a variety of detailed dies. The Delicate Desert Designer Series Paper and Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty Paper are absolutely stunning. Overall, this combination of products adds a definitive Southwestern feel to the cards.

I chose a pattern from the Delicate Desert Designer Series Paper that reminded me of a sunset. Next, I die cut a layer from the Soft Succulent Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty Paper. The colors in, both, layers complimented one another. I carried the copy from the Metallic Specialty Paper through by die cutting some leaves from Brushed Metallic Copper Foil. I, also, heat embossed the sentiment using Copper Embossing Powder.

Watch the video below to get tips for using Distinctive Stamps. You may just find a few other “golden nuggets” along the way! Further down in this post, you will find a printable pdf tutorial including measurements and a supply list. I would love to hear from you! Leave me a comment below.

Distinctive stamps create different opacities in a single stamped image. To put it simply, there are variations in color within that image. To get a darker color, I used the Stamparatus by Stampin’ Up! and stamped my image twice.
