Let Designer Series Paper and Dies Do The Work

January 17, 2023 by Kathi Leave a Comment

Do you ever need a quick card or maybe several cards? If so, let Designer Series Paper and dies do the work! One of the many wonderful things about Stampin’ Up! products is that their products coordinate! One such example is the Rain or Shine Suite. The Suite consists of the Playing in the Rain Bundle and the Rain or Shine Specialty Designer Series Paper. The Playing in the Rain Dies cut the cute animal images from the Rain or Shine Specialty Designer Series Paper. Die cut the images from one sheet of the Designer Series Paper and you have enough to make several cards. How sweet is that?

Watch the video below to get tips on cutting the Designer Series Paper and avoid waste, as well as, how to make the cards. Further down in this post, you will find a printable pdf tutorial including measurements and a supply list. I would love to know which one you like best! Leave me a comment below.

Use scraps and partial images cut from Designer Series Paper and dies from the Rain or Shine Suite.

Die cut ALL the images in the Designer Series Paper. Use the partial images on the edges of you card stock to add character and surprise to the inside of the card. Cut a 3/8″ strip from the scraps of Designer Series Paper that resulted from cutting your front layer. These are perfect for adding to the top and/or bottom of your inside.

Additional Cards Using Designer Series and Dies from Rain or Shine

All the greetings for the card fronts were cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies. For the “Rainy days are better with you” card, a second banner was cut from Mango Melody. The banner was cut in half and each half was adhered at the top and bottom of the sentiment. Thereby, adding some interest to the front of the card.
