September is my “go ahead” for making fall cards. Today, I went with quick and easy Fall cards using the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set. The Soft Seedlings stamp is a “distinktive” stamp. Thus, it shows the details of the leaf, such as the tiny veins. I love this! To achieve a “fall-like” image, ink was applied to the maple leaf using stamp pads and daubers. Daubers allow me to apply as much or as little color, as desired. I love the transition and vibrancy of colors!
The colors for the card bases were Pear Pizzazz and Sahara Sand paired with the matching Designer Series Paper. The Natural Finish Ribbon was perfect for stamping the sentiment “thinking of you” and adhering it to the stamped layer. A little “bling” using Elegant Faceted Gems and Amber Gems and I was done! Truly, simple stamping!

Soft Seedlings Pear Pizzazz
Measurements:
- Pear Pizzazz:
- 4 1/4″ x 11,” scored 5 1/2″
- 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
- scrap for sentiment
- Pear Pizzazz Designer Series Paper:
- 4″ x 5 1/4″
- 3 /4″ x 4″
- Basic White:
- 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
- 4″ x 5 1/4″
Instructions:
- Fold Pear Pizzazz on scoreline, burnish with bone folder.
- Adhere Pear Pizzazz Designer Series Paper (4″ x 5 1/4″) to front of card base.
- Using daubers, apply Pear Pizzazz, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze to maple leaf image.
- “Huff” on stamp and stamp image on Basic White 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4.”
- Adhere stamped layer to Pear Pizzazz 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2.”
- Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere combined layer to card front.
- Stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Momento Ink on scrap Pear Pizzazz.
- Trim to size. Adhere to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Adhere 3/4″ x 4″ strip of Pear Pizzazz Designer Series Paper to Basic White 4″ x 5 1/4.”
- Attach to inside of card using Multipurpose Glue.
- Apply embellishment, if desired.
Soft Seedlings Sahara Sand
Measurements:
- Sahara Sand:
- 4 1/4″ x 11,” scored 5 1/2″
- Sahara Sand Designer Series Paper:
- 4″ x 5 1/4″
- 3 /4″ x 4″
- Basic White:
- 4″ x 5 1/4″ (2)
Instructions:
- Fold Sahara Sand on scoreline, burnish with bone folder.
- Adhere Sahara Sand Designer Series Paper (4″ x 5 1/4″) to front of card base.
- Using daubers, apply Pear Pizzazz, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze to maple leaf image.
- “Huff” on stamp and stamp image on Basic White layer.
- Cut 5 1/4″ piece of Natural Finish Ribbon.
- Stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Momento Ink in center of ribbon.
- Apply small strip of Stamp & Seal+ over the stem of the leaf.
- Position ribbon over the stamped layer and press down.
- Turn stamped layer over and adhere Stamp & Seal+ to back edge to adhere ends of ribbon. (Refer to video, if needed)
- Using Multipurpose Glue, adhere stamped layer with ribbon to card front.
- Stamp seedling in upper left corner of Basic White layer using Sahara Sand.
- Stamp internal sentiment using Tuxedo Black Momento Ink, if desired.
- Adhere 3/4″ x 4″ strip of Sahara Sand Designer Series Paper to bottom of Basic White layer.
- Attach layer to inside of card using Multipurpose Glue.
- Apply embellishment, if desired.
