Today, we’re making a Double Flap Fun Fold card—an easy yet impressive card that’s perfect for both beginners and experienced card makers. With minimal supplies and a few simple steps, you can create a beautiful handmade card that will wow your recipients!
What Makes This Card Special?
The Double Flap Fun Fold is perfect for stamps and/or dies and Designer Series Paper that the you have on hand. This fold allows for beautiful layering and a unique look while keeping the crafting process simple and enjoyable. If you love variety, try using different Designer Series Papers or changing up the theme for holidays, birthdays, or special occasions!
I made the card, below, during the LIVE video. Here, I used the Flowers of Beauty Bundle to stamp and die-cut floral elements. For the card base, I used Melon Mambo paired with Bloom Impressions 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. Not only is this Designer Series Paper bright and beautiful, it is, also, a Sale-a-bration “freebie!”

The card is created by adhering the large and small card bases together. Because it is covered by the inside layer, the recipient will never notice.
One of my favorite ways to finish the inside layer is to add matching strips of card stock and Designer Series Paper. With this particular design, it is visible at the top and bottom when the card is closed.

Below, I created a Double Flap Fun Fold using the same supplies as above. However, I chose a color palette using Lemon Lolly, Pumpkin Pie, and Shy Shamrock and used the larger floral image from the Flowers of Beauty Bundle.
