Today, I am participating in the March Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Fun Fold Blog Hop and featuring a Z Fold Easel Card! The “hop” is comprised of Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who love making fun folds and sharing those cards with others to provide creative ideas and inspiration. At the end of this post, you will find the “line up” that will take you to several other blog posts. I hope you will “hop” along to see a variety of fun fold cards by these talented demonstrators from around the globe.
Z Fold Easel Card Design
The Z Fold Easel card is fun, easy to make and perfect for any occasion. You can make it simple, as I did in the video tutorial below, or you can dress it up by adding some die cut layers. Whatever you choose to do, your card will look gorgeous and worthy of display on a mantle or anywhere else, for that matter!
Because I chose to add a layer of Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper on the front my Z Fold Easel Card, I used Night of Navy and Boho Blue for my colors. In the card above, I simply used a layer of Night of Navy and Basic White for my focal point. Further down in the post, you will see a card where I die cut those two layers using the Deckled Rectangle Dies.
For the flower, I chose to use the large flower from Darling Details Bundle. I used the detailed dies from the bundle to cut leaves from Soft Seafoam.
For the tab portion of my easel, I used the Double Oval and Lasting Label Punches. These layered nicely and provided some added support to my Z Fold Easel card.
Below is the instructional video demonstrating how to design a Z Fold Easel Card. There will be tips on cutting, folding and assembling the card. Further down in the post, you will find an additional card, downloadable PDF with the link to the instructional video, template design, measurements, and supplies. Leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts on this easy fun fold card.
