I am calling today’s card the Adorable Owls Dandy Birthday Card. Why? Because I designed it with the Adorable Owls stamp set and the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper, both of which are available in the 2023 Sale-a-bration brochure. These little owls will capture your heart!
I chose Balmy Blue for my Adorable Owls birthday card, as it paired beautifully with the colors in the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper. The colors and prints in the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper complement one another so well, that I chose to use two patterns in my design. The Adorable Owls stamped images are easy to color and are perfect for Stampin’ Blends or watercoloring. I chose to color them with Stampin’ Blends: Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight.

One of my favorite ways to “dress up” the inside of my card is to use a strip of matching Designer Series Paper and/or card stock. I particularly like to use both, layered, so that the card stock provides a slight edge.
