Meandering Meadow Suite : Sneak Peek

Happy Friday!!! Today, I want to give you a “sneak peek” at a new Online Exclusive that will be available beginning November 7th. The Stampin’ Up! Meandering Meadow Suite is just downright beautiful. The suite consists of the Garden Meadow Bundle, Meandering Meadow Designer Series Paper, Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds, and Pecan Pie 3/8″ Center Stripe Ribbon. Since, I literally received my suite just hours before, the card is quick, easy and really shows off the Designer Series Paper!

Meandering Meadow Card Design

I am featuring an all occasion card that can be used for friendship or just to say “Hello.” This is a quick, easy card that will appeal to any level stamper or card maker. For the card base, I used Lemon Lime Twist, a color present in the Meandering Meadow Designer Series Paper. Next, I added a Basic White layer dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I matted a 2″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Designer Series Paper with Lemon Lime Twist. Since the Meandering Meadow Designer Series paper is 6″ x 6″, I was able to make three cards using one piece.

A Deckled Circle cut from Basic White was used for the greeting and the basket image with the flowers. The basket and flowers were colored using Stampin’ Blends in Pecan Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Lemon Lime Twist. To finish off the front, I added either a small Linen Thread bow to the basket handle or embellished using the Tinsel Gems 4 Pack.

For the inside of the card, I simply stamped the sentiment on Basic White card stock. I stamped a small floral image from the Garden Meadow Stamp set and used Highland Heather and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends to color.
