Today, I am using the Desert Details Bundle and Delicate Desert Designer Series Paper to create an easy card with a Southwestern flair. I love the detail in the stamps and dies in this bundle, as they are very different than any other by Stampin’ Up! The detailed design of the Desert Flower stamp is beautiful. Pair this bundle with the Delicate Desert Designer Series Paper and you have the making of a stunning card!

Delicate Desert Card Design
I wanted a card that had flair and design, yet, clean and simple. A tough combination to achieve. I used Pale Papaya for my card base. Next, I layered the front with a patterned piece of Delicate Desert Designer Series Paper in Cajun Craze. I chose to use two die cut strips along the lower front portion of the card using another piece of the Designer Series Paper. I used Soft Succulent Fine Shimmer Paper to die cut the leaves. For the Desert Flower image, I decided to stamp using Calypso Coral on Shimmery White card stock. As an embellishment, I used Iridescent Pastel Gems on the card front. In the end, I chose not to add a greeting to the outside of the card. I felt like it detracted from the design and look for which I was trying to achieve.

Desert Details Card Inside & envelope
I kept the inside clean and simple, as well. I stamped the greeting and partial image of the same Desert Flower in Calypso Coral. To finish off the card, I covered the envelope flap with a matching piece of Designer Series Paper. After all, we don’t want any naked envelopes!
