Welcome to Week 1 of Simply Kards By Kathi’s Twelve Weeks of Christmas! This week, I am using Stampin’ Up A Little Bit Festive 12″ x 12″ Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper. The Designer Series Paper consists of three sheets of double-sided patterned paper and three sheets of die cuts. The die cuts are, essentially, an ephemera pack.
I have only used an ephemera pack one other time, but I will definitely be using them more often! If you are new to card making this is a perfect way to start your holiday card journey! New to card making or experienced, A Little Bit Festive from Stampin’ Up is an easy way to make beautiful holiday cards.

A Little Bit Festive Christmas Card Making Ideas
I used standard card bases measuring either 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ or 4 1/4″ x 11″. I love layers, so for many of the cards, I added a Basic White layer. The layers were dry embossed with either the Exposed Brick or Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folders. I die cut the sentiments using Stylish Shapes Dies, which perfectly complements the A Little Bit Festive theme.
There are so many die cuts, it can be overwhelming. I sorted them by design: wreaths, layers, stars, trees, etc. Sorting made it easier to visualize what I had to work with. Then, I was able to pull pieces and start to put designs together. I had so much fun making these quick and easy cards using the Stampin’ Up A Little Bit Festive collection, I can’t wait to make more!
