Looking for cards that are elegant, clean and simple? Then look no further. I am confident that Treasured Kindness and Stylish Shapes Dies will give you cards that WOW! The two-step stamp set is perfect for a quick and simple card that is clean in appearance. Step it up with an embossing folder, blended background and embellishments and either way, you have a winner.

I believe the Treasured Kindness Stamp Set is a “hidden gem.” It does not have matching dies. Thus, I think it is easy to overlook on your first glance through the 2022 Annual Catalog. But, when you take a close look, it has endless possibilities, particularly when you pair Treasured Kindness and Stylish Shapes Dies. The Fern 3D Embossing Folder was used as a layer on the front of, both, cards. Whoever said elegant, clean and simple can’t WOW?

Ready to get started? The video, below, demonstrates and provides instructions for the two cards below. Further down in the post are the measurements, supplies and tips. I would love to hear from you! Leave me a comment below and let me know which one you like best!

Thank You Card

For the “thank you,” I chose to do clean and simple. The background stamp, I used Crumb Cake “stamped off.” In the video, I chose to use Daffodil Delight “stamped off” which I liked better. I then stamped the bonsai tree over the circle to provide the illusion of depth.

I ran a 5 1/2″ piece of Old Olive Twill Ribbon across the card front. Despite using Mossy Meadow for the cardbase, I felt the Old Olive Ribbon looked good. On this card, I used the 3/8″ x 3″ Basic White and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Solid Faceted Gems in Mossy Meadow finished it off.

I carried the circle image through to the inside as a subtle background for my sentiment. As always, I like to decorate the inside of my cards. I stamped the bonsai tree in the lower right corner and off the layer. That still allowed for enough room to add a personalized note. In the second card below, I stamped the bonsai tree as I did here, but chose a different greeting.

You Are Wonderful Card

For this card I used Mossy Meadow 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ The layers are constructed the same as above. However, here I wanted to add a blended background for the bonsai tree. I used Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral with Blending Brushes.

For my greeting, I used a banner from Stylish Shapes cutting it once from Basic White and a second from Mossy Meadow. I, then, cut the Mossy Meadow banner down the middle and adhered it to the top and bottom of the sentiment layer. I finished the inside as above using a different sentiment.
