Today, I am sharing a Triple Front Flap Fold. If you are an avid fun fold maker, this card is for you! I chose to use the Frames & Flowers 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper. Similar to other Designer Series Papers, Frames & Flowers is double-sided with floral and greenery designs on one side and all-purpose patterns on the other. However, what makes this paper different is there are three sheets of die cut greenery and floral elements making it quick and easy to make beautiful cards. While, I am using the specialty paper to create my card, this design is perfect to make using stamps and dies you already own!
Triple Front flap Fold Design
The Triple Front Flap Fold starts off with a standard A2 card base. I chose to use Soft Sea Foam measuring 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″. I layered the front of the card base with Pretty Peacock. Next, I created two front flaps using Soft Sea Foam and adhered them to the back of a layer of Frames & Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper. Next, I adhered the Designer Series Paper with the two front flaps to the front of my card creating a Triple Front Flap Fold.
I used the upper front flap as my focal point and layered with a piece of Basic White dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I used the die cut greenery and floral elements from the Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper. I love how they coordinate with the paper and easy to use! These die cuts are perfect for quick and easy cards. For the bottom flap, I simply used a different pattern from the Specialty Paper.

The inside of the triple front flaps provide opportunities for sentiments, stamped images and/or die cuts. Since I was making a card for Mother’s Day, I chose to use sentiments from three different stamp sets with a few of the pre-cut images from the Specialty Paper. I, often, will use multiple stamp sets to create the perfect sentiment for the occasion.
The inside of the card base is the third flap. Similarly, to the inside of the other two flaps, I added a Basic White layer with a sentiment and a pre-cut image.
